The Ruffino family got their start producing high quality red wines over 130 years ago in Italy’s Tuscan region. They were a leader in making Chianti at their estate and have been at the forefront of Italian wine families in being steward of the land where their grapes are grown. Using traditional and modern techniques they rely on their knowledge and skill in wine making along with Mother Nature to produce their high quality award winning wines.
Now they have taken their passion and skill to northeastern Italy to produce fantastic sparkling wines. The Ruffino Sparkling Rosé has a bright vibrant pink presence in the glass. Nose pleasing aromas of strawberry, peach, and rose petals dominate. The Ruffino Sparkling Rosé’s palate tingles with small bubbles that break the surface in the glass. Rich flavors of strawberry, raspberry, white peach and crisp acidity fill the well-rounded wine. There is a hint of sweetness on the Ruffino Sparkling Rosé’s medium finish.
