Marina Cvetic, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Reserva, 2016 has an opaque inky garnet color.  The intense nose leaves you dreaming of warm summer day in the hills surrounding Abruzzo, wild red flowers, strawberries along a roadside with hints of fresh tar just paved with tart dark cherries.  The palate is filled with dark fruit, blackberry, black cherry mixed with tart red berries and nice acidity and well rounded tannins.  The mouth feel is full from start to finish.  The crisp acidity leaves your palate wanting another sip. Oktoberfest brews to try in 2019
